service_names Parameter In RAC Database

I have a 2 node cluster.  Using Grid Ctl to look at the init parms, I see this under service_names: 

'SVTSCS', 'SYS$SYS.KUPC$S_1_20091004200500.TSCS.WORLD', 'TSCS.world'

TSCS is the given db_name and db_unique_name, SVTSCS is the service I created with srvctl.  What is 'SYS$SYS.KUPC$S_1_20091004200500.TSCS.WORLD' and where did it come from?  It looks like a timestamp in the name, indicating something happened Oct 4 but I have no idea of any jobs or processes from then that this might be referencing.  We have another RAC database with a similar setting.  Both of these databases do not have any connection issues when I test connectivity from my desktop.  However, another RAC database that does NOT have this odd setting, does have occasional problems with the test script, returning
