Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

Does new Standby control file needs to be created in following cases?

1) Each time primary and backup is shut down for a backup?

The exports is done everyday and cold backup to tape once a week.
