Client install issues with Java on e6.1

The client install for e6.1 requires a java installation into a directory with no spaces in it (i.e. c:\java). However, windows machines by default install java to c:\program files\java.  With 100 machines to install clients on, is there a workaround for this issue so that we don't have to reinstall java to a new directory on every PC?
