Change inventory org

 Dear All ,

We have an inventory org which we are using from past 5 years , We want to change the material account since oracle does not permit the material account to be changed once any transaction is performed at org level , We have decided to create another inventory org using this new cost center and move all the inventory from old org to new org . Does anyone has any other idea . Can any one provide note of the steps and setups involved and possible risks of doing this .
