Oracle Standby (Max availability mode)

 Hi,

I have 2 questions with regards to physical standby creation.

1. I have a old full backup (a week old) of the database. Now, I need to create a standby, can the old backup be restored using the latest standby controlfile?

2.  What are the settings required (max availability mode) for the paramter log_archive_dest_2=      ?
