   Hi

This might be a duplicate posting as I cannot find my original question

We have 2 RAC dbs on RedHat Linux 2.4 64-bit. Both have two diskgroups DATA (200 GB) and BKUP (50 GB). the storage is on raw partions on a NetApp Fibre Channel storage system

Db1 has almost used up its 200 GB DATA diskgroup while DB2 has only used up about 30 GB. We would like to take about 100GB from DB2 and give it to DB1. Has anyone done this kind of thng ? Is ther any good document detailing this? Thanks

Mukesh

From DB1

SQL> select a.name, b.name, b.path, b.total_mb, b.free_mb

Howdy, Stranger!
