Today the Enterprise Manager team is releasing the first set our our desktop widgets for EM.
We are using Adobe AIR as the development platform, so the widgets work wherever Adobe AIR runs: Windows, Mac, and Linux (although we've only tested on Windows).
Come see them in action at Oracle Open World. They are in the Oracle DEMOgrounds in Moscone West, stations W-066 and W-073, as well as a few others.
Our primary goal for the widgets is to engage with our customers (that's you!) in a more rapid and iterative development cycle. We absolutely need your feedback to determine what's good and what's not with the current widgets. We will use this information to determine the direction of future widgets. Ultimately, we want the best ideas from our widgets to get incorporated back into EM.
