11G r2 OS requirements

 Hi,

I am going to install 11G r2 on Linux86_64

(Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 6) with kernal 2.6.9-67.ELsmp )

I found some inconsistant info from Oracle document about OS requirements:

Notes 880942.1 said:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS/ES 4 update 7 (or greater), which is Kernel 2.6.9-78.EL or newer

But Oracle® Database Quick Installation Guide
11 g Release 2 (11.2) for Linux x86-64
Part Number E10860-02

4.1 Operating System Requirements

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 3

For Asianux 2, Oracle Enterprise Linux 4, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4:

2.6.9 or later

So which one to follow?  Also  are the requirements same for enterprise edition as for standard edition?
