Alternate BOM

 Hi All

we are implementing ASCP Constrained Plan, we have a Primary Bill of material ( PBOM) and alternates for PBOM, The first alternate is PBOM ALT1, Second Altenate is PBOM ALT2, Third alternate is PBOM ALT3.

During ASCP Constrained plan how the ASCP will give the priortiy inbetween altenates. Always ASCP first give planned orders for primary BOM, if there is not sufficient supply, it looks for Altenate BOMS.

My question is in the alternates which one will be given priority. In substitutes we have substitute priority, but similar function is not avilable in the altenates? so is there is any logic to be used in the Alternate defintion?
