file maintenence

 I have a employee that is saying when he clicks on a drop down list in oracle the peope who are no longer with our company keep showing up in the drop down list and when he keys in a PO it ask for a requestor. How can he do file maintenence for employees no longer with our company?

I am need to do this so I am not for sure how to solve this. Please help!
