disable create accounting on receiving transactions.

Hi,
As what we have observed, a create accounting process automatically occurs upon receiving transaction (even without explicitly running the create accounting). We're encountering system lag and we are suspecting it might be caused by create accounting process. So we wanted to disable the auto create accounting upon receiving and instead run it as a batch process during non-office hours. Is this possible?

We're consulting the metalink entry "Resolving records stuck in the Receiving Transactions Interface" but it doesnt give much information.
