Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hello,

what is the purpose/use of file named 'listener.log.size' located in $ORACLE_HOME/network/logs ?

Platform - AIX5L, Oracle 10.2.0.4.

The file's timestamp gets updated every 15 minutes.

The file is present on most (but not all) installations I have access to.
