Migrate from 32bit x86 Solaris 10GR1 to 64bit x86 Linux 11GR2
Hi, what is the best plan to do that migration?
I have tested import/export from the new host, but the export with the 64bit edition throws many dbms errors.
Then I exported on the old host with the 32bit export and imported it on the new host with the 64bit edition.
This seems to work, no export or import errors, no warnings, but missing packages or package body in some imported shemata.
This missing packages could be installed manually in the new database and are working correctly.
The best feeling on my side will leave a migration without this problems, is there any way to do it better?
