Ship Confirm 0

 We have scenarios where for example a quantity of 10 is picked but then 0 is ship confirmed. This unallocates the order from the trip and places the order in backordered status. Is there anyway to not have the delivery go into backordered status when 0 is ship confirmed.

For specific business reasons the order needs to be cancelled and we need to maintain the link to the original trip and see the original picked amount versus the 0 shipped quantity. OE: AutoBackorder profile option is set to N but does not stop backorders from being created in this scenario.
