Help Archive Logs filling up? ORA-19815

Hi I am new to Oracle (Post #2) been handed Oracle Databases, Oracle DBA no longer with company.  I have a question on another DB I am going to Admin.Windows 2003 64-bit, Oracle 10.2.0.3

It will be called "MYDB"  for privacy purposes.  My experience is low, and I'm looking for some quick ideas.

This is a new database instance, which was setup with DBCA by old DBA.  It was setup to use RMAN.  - about 2 weeks ago - I have never used RMAN    It's in implementation phases, but I still need to understand this.

1 - Successfully backed up once. (Failed ever since)
