Adding files to primary that has a standby

Hi,

I have a standby (Max availability mode), but i need to add more space to one or more primary DB tablespaces. If the primary DB tablespace size is increased, will the standby tablespace size increases automatically or do i need to rebuilt the standby from scratch.

Please advice.
