ESB Error Notification Email

 Hi All,
We are on 10.1.3.4 and have an issue with our error notification emails where the actual error message is not sent with the email.
The email simply says:
Error Message:
null


After some digging around we found a current bug (7616012) on Metalink which seems to describe this. We are using Asynchronous messages in our routing service and switching them to Synchronous is not an option at this point.

I was wondering if anyone came across this issue and have found a solution/workaround?

Any ideas are welcome.
