Even though ASM support the files listed below (in 11gR1), is there a best practice guide regarding file placement? Example for certain files it’s OK to use ASM but it’s good practice to keep a copy somewhere else (in a regular file system) as well. For other files, it’s better to use a regular file system although we can use ASM...
