Receipt to Receiving Inspection not using AP Accrual Account

 The accounting for a receipt into receiving inspection should debit the receiving inventory account and credit the AP Accrual Account. For certain PO receipts, the credit is to the PO distribution account for the item. Why is the PO distribution being used instead of the accrual account?
