This one-hour session is recommended for technical and functional users who manage or maintain the backup and recovery of the database using Recovery Manager (RMAN). 

We will provide an overview of new RMAN features in Oracle11g.

Topics will include:

*   Improved RMAN integration with Data Guard
*   Multi-sectional backups
*   Improved handling of Long term backups
*   Data Recovery Advisor
*   RMAN catalog database enhancements
*   Various other new featured included in RMAN 11g, Release 1 and RMAN 11g, Release 2.
