Datacenter Migration - Buidling a copy of a RAC environment from an image

 Has anyone built a RAC environment using an "image" from an existing environment? We're migrating datacenters and this question came up. I'm not sure what imaging tool is being used but wanted to get some input from Oracle on a) is this doable and b) is it a certified solution supported by Oracle?

I recieved this feedback from our Oracle rep in regards to imaging a RAC environment.

Yes you can create Oracle RAC images if you are using Oracle's virtualization products and it will be certified and supported.  It will not be certified / supported if you are using other virtualization products.
