Do I need to set up the SID subdirectory on the standby?

 Hi,

Oracle recommends identical file system configuration on both primary and standby.  After removing the starter database on the standby I notice the subdirectory with the SID name in the data file directory is also removed. 

Q: Do I need to manually create the missing SID subdirectories on the standby like under the data file and archivelog directories?
