OEM Repository Database Access

I am just starting to play with Oracle Enterprise Manager as a monitoring tool for the handful of Oracle Databases we maintain. I see where we can setup a number of different metrics to monitor and throw out email alerts if a threshold is crossed. I was wondering if it is possible to actually update another Oracle database as well as email?

We have a number of Oracle databases 10g and 9i we support. We currently use cron jobs/windows jobs to monitor database up/down, tabelspace usage, etc. When an alert is thrown, we send an email to a parser that then inserts a row into our "support queue" (a separate application that works over an oracle database). Our support people work out of that queue to resolve issues.

Howdy, Stranger!
