I wanted to check with the group before logging an SR.

Here is the setup.

Windows 2003 32bit, R12 EBS single node with a 10.2.3 database.  About 12 regular active users, plus about 50 here and there iExpense users. I removed DCD from SQLNET and have it set in the registry for our TNS connections.  The services and database are bounced nightly.

The issue is I keep hitting the setting I have for processes.  ie. processes=300 and we are hitting that value.

I started with the Oracle suggested value of 200, then increased it to 300.  Daily monitoring shows we reach about 250 on most days.

The past couple days the db crashed because it was unable to assign a new process.

Howdy, Stranger!
