AME Customization

I need to create a new custom AME Transaction. Is it possible to do in E-Business Suite release 11.5.10.2?
I created a new custom Business Event with a new Transactio type and I enabled them.
I created a POST-UPDATE trigger in a custom form to call the standard API FND_WF_SIGN. ADD_TRANSACTION . but nothing happens!

What's wrong? Is there a techincal documentation to follow the istructions?
