PAY: Approval for Pay element entries

 Hello,
In my organization, the users who are entering element entries in the payroll are making a lot of data entry mistakes. Is it possible in some way to let anotheruser approve the element entry values entered before they will be actually used in the payroll run?

I know it sounds weird, so weird ideas are also welcome.
