Process Category - Unplanned Depreciation in Create Accounting

Hi,

In R12, wanted to know when the process Unplanned Depreciation gets generated/initiated/created.

we use group assets as well as standalone ( STL/UOP) assets. No matter which asset I did unplanned depreciation on - STL or UOP group or individual UOP assets, the category that the journal is getting created against is ' ADJUSTMENT' which have an event class and type of ' Unplanned Depreciation '.

So what goes in to GL is always Source - Assets and Category - Adjustment.

So I was wondering when does the process category of Unplanned Depreciation come into play?

The process category which I am speaking of comes in the LOV of Create Accounting under the book type code field
