DBConsole not working on 2 node RAC

Hi,


we have a 2 node RAC system (10g on Linux)
For some reason, our working dbconsole is not working as expected anymore


When we pull up the dbconsole, it says that

"The database status is currently unavailable. It is possible that the database is in mount or nomount state. Click 'Startup' to obtain the current status and open the database. If the database cannot be opened, click 'Perform Recovery' to perform an appropriate recovery operation"

when we click on "startup" and provide the os credentials, it shows the status of both the instances as "UP"

We verified that all the nodeapps / services etc are up and running on both nodes.
