How to install XML DB

   I have some question, which ones have to make clear some hesistance about XML DB.

I got some specification from vendor , who says i also must install in my oracle DB server XML DB component (there are other ones also, but about others i know).

I read some articles about intallation and configuration procedures of XML DB.

Should i install XML DB component after creating Instance? Should i active user XML DB? does xml db installs for whole database or just for some instance\shchema\tablespace?
