Year Default from System Date - Need by and Promised Dates

Hi,

We have a requirement. We want to enter only ddmmm in the Promised date and Need by columns in PO shipments. Is it possible that EBS can pick the current year and populate the date as dd-mmm-yyyy?

This feature is needed through out the instance.

Any pointers in this regards are appreciated.
