Copy Cancelled PO

Need to confirm if this is standard functionality.

PO of line qty 1000 is cancelled. the quantity will be defaulted to 0 once the PO is cancelled.

Now if we copy the PO to make a new PO then logically the quantity will be the original PO quantity.

if we copy a cancelled PO then it is not defaulting 0 but it defaults 1000. I think this is a intended functionality but need confimation if faced before.
