ORA-12152 - TNS:unable to send break message

  I have a firewall between SQL+ client and database server. After the default firewall idletime (1 hour)  the client hangs for 9 minutes and comes back with the error message. Anyone figured it out what the issue is.

Client is SQL+ (10.1.0.5) and Database is also 10.1.0.5 version.
