Incorrect Value in Asset Addition Report due to Reclassification

 Some Assets have been classified from an Asset Category having 15 years Life to an Asset Category having 10 Years life.  After Reclassification when we run the seeded report "Asset Addition Report" The output is giving 15 Years as the life of the asset whereas the expected output is 10 years. Please advice me how achieve correct output.
