Maximum Records Per Page - Oracle Reports

I have a question on the oracle reports tool.

I have report that prints the default number of lines per page. But sometimes its too short so i go the frame properties and increase the number of records. After sometime the number of records assigned is too long because of the lengthy descriptions. So i have to again open the report using the report designer tool and change it again.

I was wondering if there is a way to handle this without having to alter the number of records ?
