changing depreciation method

We have an old asset on which many adjustments  and even partial retirement was done. Now I transferred some cost to a few new assets and created it as parent asset. Also I changed the depreciation method from declining balance to straight line for IFRS. I expected that the system will re-calculate the accumulated depreciation from the in-service period of the asset with the new depreciation method, however, for the parent asset I am not able to validate the numbers with my calculation.

I have done similar processes with other assets and system is calculating as it should do. I am wondering if partial retirement plays any role in re-calculation of accumulated depreciation.

Howdy, Stranger!
