Logical standby with only subset of schemas compared to Primary

Hi,
We have a requirement of keeping target database in sync with source database for only subset of schemas. As example if source(primary) has 30 schemas then target(standby) will have only 19. Main reason for this subset of schema in target is space limitation.
Can Logical Standby mode of Dataguard work in this scenario? My understanding is that target(standby) can have additional schema/objects, but at minimum it need to have all sachems as in source(primary).
Will appreciate confirmation either way or link to documentation on this
Thanks
Nilesh
