eAM work order -can it be ever created without entering asset details

 Hi

My question is why is it necessary to enter lots of information like asset number,asset group etc etc required to be entered for creating a work order or even work request.

Typically the person requesting aout a problem just reports a problem ,he would not know for which seet,asset group,typically the person is not required to have knowledge about asset etc while raising up an issue.

So why is it necessary to fill up details at the preliminary stage,Is there a way we can fill up a work order without such details and can be just chnarged to account combination defined in Discrete class like how we do typically in WIP.
