Asset Not Depreciating

 Hi,

I ran the Non-Depreciating Property Report in Oracle Fixed Assets 11i.  I found one asset on the report that should be set up to depreciate.  In reviewing the Financial Inquiry form within Assets I see that the Depreciate box is not checked.  This asset was put into service several months ago. 

What can I do to set this asset so that is depreciates?  Do I check off the depreciate box?  If so, will the system catch up on the depreciation that was missed in the prior months?
