Multiple set of books
I have some questions regarding multiple set of books
We have acquired a new company whose accounting calendar is a little diff. from ours. Also their currency is diff.
Hence I will end up creating a new Set of books for them.
To create a new set of books I am defining a new AFF/ COA. My question is The current company COA uses segment1,segment2 and segment3 from gl code comb.. So it it possible that I use segment 4,5, and segment6 for the new COA ? I wan to know if there is going to be any impact if I choose to do so?I mean from reports, consolidation at the higher company level etc..
