performance degradation after upgrade of oracle database from 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4 on HP-UX Itanim.

Hi All

I am oracle dba and i was to invesigate an oracle db perforance issue on our sap oracle dba which is supported by sap admin team.

We had a sap upgrade of oracle database from 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4 on HP-UX Itanim. Before upgrade: 6 cpu & 32GB memory; After upgrade: 14 cpus & 60GB memory. However one of our standard load job performance degraded significantly. before upgrade, the job processed 700-800 documents per minute while teh table stats collection job was running concurrently( it is a standard job by sap admin team.) the same job can process up to 400 documents when we disable the stats collection job. The spfile change after upgrade is to increase sga size. Can anyone give any ideas on the performace
