 Hi all :

I am goingto be upgrading from 10g (10.2.0.4) to 11gR2 (As soon as its released). I am on Windows.In preparation for this upgrade I was reading the

Upgrading Oracle Clusterware and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) Databases document and I am a little confused about the following. It states....

Prior to Oracle Database 11 g Release 1 (11.1), either all Oracle software installations

were owned by the Oracle user, typically oracle, or Oracle Database software was

owned by oracle, and Oracle Clusterware software was owned by a separate user,

typically crsuser. Starting with Oracle Database 11 g Release 1 (11.1), the same user

typically crsuser
