Sequence Replication

I'm currently testing streams replication at the schema level.  The replication is uni-directional using local capture.  However, I've run into an issue where sequences generated on the source database are not being replicated.  Based on the Streams documentation sequences are not captured.  What are the alternatives to replicating the sequences?
