WLS 10.3 Managed Server occasionally going into stand alone mode
Hello everyone
Not sure if this is a actual bug or just a usage issue, so I thought I'd ask the community about this first.
We run a number of weblogic servers on a single unix server (which is on a VM) for development purposes. Lately we've noticed that occasionally the managed servers will go into stand-alone mode without warning - it will still be running (deployed applications operate normally) but the admin server loses connection to the managed server and reports that it is in the SHUTDOWN state.
When attempting to shut down the managed server using the shutdown scripts, it reports that the managedserver.lok file is in use (indicating that the managed server is still running), and we must kill the processes before we can restart the managed server.
