Associating User Defined Attribute Page Region with a Page Layout

Hi,

We are currently testing using a project level user defined attribute to store custom cost rate information for budgeting purposes.  At this time I have manage to create the Attribute Context and Attribute Groups.  I have also associated my context with a page region.  However, I cannot seem to locate the documentation the defines how to associate the page region with a Project Home Page layout.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
