Oracle RAC Database Issues

We have a Datawarehouse system on Oracle RAC (3Node). We have been facing severe performance issues offlate.
The latest of which is below.

In the DWH extraction, the jobs get on/off hung due to a particular Wait Event PX Deq: Join ACK.

There a lot of waits that have been observed for the affected sessions.

Would like to know more about this wait event, as the name suggests, looks like a Parallel Execution Wait Event.

In a broader sense, does this have something to do with Memory Utilization on the OS.

What are the Reasons for this particular event to occur?
