Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC)

mv DB to new ORACLE_HOME --> OPatch failed --> Inventory

 Hi all,

DB = 10.2.0.2

OS = AIX 5.3

I moved the DB to a new OH (Doc.ID 731116.1).

After that OPatch isn't working any more.

Inventory load failed... OPatch cannot load inventory for the given Oracle Home

OPatch failed with error code 73

Then I tried to attch the home to the inventory

Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

No pre-requisite checks found in oraparam.ini, no system pre-requisite checks will be executed.
The inventory pointer is located at /etc/oraInst.loc
The inventory is located at /home/oracle/oraInventory
OUI-10197:Unable to create a new Oracle Home at /oracle/OraHome_xxx. Oracle Home already exists at this location. Select another location.
