Location Calendar Set Up

Can someone tell me if there is any documentation on how to set up the Location and Calendar relation? We have already set up our Locations and now we would like to add to each the calendar(s) they will follow. Our goal is to set this up so that when OTM plans orders, it will take into account both the source and destination location operating hours so that pickup and drop off days/times are automatically set in the shipment created. Also, we do a lot of order consolidation here on one shipment so we will need OTM to plan the
