Hyperion Shared Services integration with BI Publisher

I have Hyperion Shared Services integrated with BI Publisher.  Native HSS users can login to BIP but MSAD users cannot.
MSAD users can login to Workspace but the app will hang when they try to pass-through to BIP.  Oracle Support has not been able to solve this problem for over 2 months. If there is anyone that has successfully integrated these products using MSAD or any LDAP, I would like to hear from them.  Thanks

The error in the browser reads:
500 Internal Server Error

Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
