ORA-12224 error on virtual ip failover to another node

 Hi,
I have installed Oracle10g RAC (10.2.0.4.) on IBM AIX 6.1. Since we are using raw files (not ASM), I have also installed HACMP 5.5. 

I am using TAF. On failover of virtual ip from node2 to node1, I am getting ORA-12224 TNS: no listener, when trying to connect from the client PC. I am using virtual ip of both the nodes in the address list (as required in Oracle10g RAC).

Any clue on the above.
