primary on ASM and physical standby on normal filesystem

  Hi All,

physical DataGuard setup requires same os, same db version. need to know same filesystem/asm?I mean can physical standby database and primary be on different file system..ie Primary on ASM and physical standby on different filesystem.Can anyone provide the oracle documentation or link stating we can have same/different filesystem..
